Volunteer and Knowledge Management Between Countries

I am a president of 43 year old bay area abased non-profit focused on international development.

We are looking for the same service with more specific features for
a. Disaster Management in Mumbai and other parts of India
b. For a cross country specialized volunteer needs (India and US). This will require additional interface and social networking feature as scope of the work has to be very precise. Hence, current functionality must be extended.

Do you have interest in growing into these two domains? I would certainly like to provide all the requirements and support to make this service work.

    Do you require assistance targeting specific types of volunteer skill sets?

    Sorry for a delayed response. Volunteering for international development has to looked different from volunteering at local. Since it is a bigger commitment, typical volunteer would like to know an lot more and organization looking for a service must match skills of specific kinds to make it fruitful experience.

    Our organization has primarily about - working and supporting social innovation for NGOs and social enterprises. Hence, needs could be anywhere from teaching children to more professional and traditional "ophthalmology with specific specialization" to someone is professional with specific skills like some one who can solve some design issues for solar lantern for rural population.

    If there is an interest, I can demonstrate my current skeleton prototype, which could clarify. At the heart of it main question for your org is - in your charter do you plan to focus on cross-board volunteerism.
