Hello Suzanne,
As I cannot see your computer screen, I am unsure which posting you're referencing here. Please provide a more detailed description--by responding to this post. Or you can draft your question in an email and send it to: support@volunteermatch.org.
I'm happy to help you figure this out. I just need more details.
Thanks!

Hello Suzanne,
Do you still need instructions on composing a new volunteer opportunity? Instructions on adding photos into your account? I have not heard back from you. I assume you no longer need our assistance?

I’m
feeling helpful
Hello Penny,
When I looked at your account I saw that you currently have one active opportunity. Do you still need help navigating our listing flow?
If you are still having trouble can you please give me some more details about the scenario? Which screen are you referring to? Does this happen when you are trying to build a new listing? Do you get an error message?
Also, which type of browser are you using? Version number?
You can include your answers in your response to this post.
Matt-
I am trying to build a new listing.

following up
Hello Penny,
I have not heard back from you so I assume you no longer need our help. I will have our engineering team take a look at your account/our system to check for any possible 'bugs'. If you have and questions going forward please continue to post them here on our Community Powered Support Page.
Thanks!

Hello Deidre,
Do you need help navigating our website? Are you looking for volunteer work? Or are you looking to recruit volunteers?
I'm unsure what you are referencing in your comment above.
Please let me know.

There's still no answer to this question. I am on the Posting Steps under What. When I scroll over save or next step it will not let me do either. What now? It sounds like a bunch of people had the same question and gave up!!

Hi Martha/everyone,
Apologies for the difficulties you're experiencing with our site. This is an ongoing issue that our engineering team is working to correct. It's a bit of a tricky one as it seems to be occurring randomly to some of our users rather than across the board. We're working hard to determine which internet browsers (and which versions) are causing this error.
Would you be interested in helping us answer these questions? We could set up an online meeting where we could view your screen as you interact with the VolunteerMatch Site and try to pinpoint what's causing this issue in your case.
Let us know and either way we will keep you updated on the progress of getting this corrected.
thanks,
Kevin J.

Hi, I can't get beyond the first screen. Trying to post this year's portland triathlon volunteer opportunity.
hilary@portlandtri.com-
Hilary,
Your organization has been approved and I see that you've successfully posted opportunities in the past.
The email address you used to post the question above is not the same as the email address you included in your post. The email address associated with your VolunteerMatch profile is a Gmail account.
Are you sure that you are logged in with the correct email address when you are attempting to post new volunteer opportunities?

Ok, so I had this same problem. When I searched for 'volunteer opportunities' with google chrome on my macbook it would only let me read the first page of results. When I clicked to go to page 2 it would give me the error message:
It erased the keyword I used, and added USA to the end of my city...which seemed to cause an error but is the default location input your website provides. It seems to think this is outside of the USA...odd.
Problem was resolved when I became a registered user. I can now advance to more search results in 'volunteer opportunities'. Perhaps the problem is only with unregistered users?-
Hello Lindsey,
This does NOT make for a positive user experience! I'm sorry you were running into this when using our site. Even though you say the problem was resolved upon registering...I'd still like to look into it some more.
What browser are you using? Version number? What zip code (or city name) did you type in?
Are you using a work computer? Have you since cleared your browser history?
I'll look for your response.
Thanks!

I cannot add a new event since the add description box on the first page for adding new events will not let me write or paste anything in. I tried to move forward and the site will not let me. I'm especially frustrated because I have posted two events ( just completed ) in the recent past. I'm using Mozilla Foxfire and I'm working on an Apple.
Would really like to resolve this issue as soon as possible since I need to post an event coming up on May 12. I tried to add this event over two weeks ago and had the same issues. I went away and came back to post today thinking this was a big enough kink in the system to be fixed by now. I'd appreciate some help with this. Thanks-
Hello Samantha,
This sounds like an issue we have since resolved. Check out the following:
Admins With Mozilla Cannot Type In The Description Field
What version of Mozilla Firefox are you using? If necessary I can reopen the case.
In the interim, do you have access to a different browser?
I'll look for your reply.
