Problems posting a new opportunity
I click "Next Step" and nothing happens... I am able to save the draft of an opportunity, but nothing advances when I click "Next Step" (and there are no alerts saying that I've done something wrong, nothing is timing out, but the "hand" icon that allows me to click on things no longer appears to click "next step" again)... HELP

When I logged into your account and attempted to post an opportunity I was unable to recreate the scenario you described above. The Next Step button was working correctly.
Which browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your browser history? Your cookies? Logging out and starting over?
Let me know if you are still experiencing this issue and I can contact you directly to resolve it.

Which browser are you using? Explorer. I have posted events successfully using this in the past... and I successfully posted 2 today before I started having trouble Have you tried clearing your browser history? Your cookies? nope Logging out and starting over? Yes... twice, to no avail. I will try again when I restart my computer tomorrow, and I will let you know...

Try deleting your browser history and deleting your cookies before you log in tomorrow. If this problem persists, let me know by responding to these posts and I will contact you directly.

Is it possible it has to do with "pasting" my keywords? Because I deleted all of these things you mentioned... (still didn't work), then downloaded Firefox (still didn't work), then I tried re-typing everything... and then it allowed me to advance. That's a real pain... suggestions?

I am having a similar problem. I am on the description and time/place page and, when I click "next step," I just keep getting a bar at the bottom asking if I want to save or open the information. Even after I saved it to my computer, I continue to get the bar. There is a "cancel" option on the bar, but even clicking that does not allow me to get to the next step. Also, I tried to log out but could not do that either.

I've been attempting to set up an opportunity listing and when I CLICK "Next step" of "save as draft", nothing happen. I cannot get the entry to move to the next page of the process.

I discovered late tonight that I could get the button to save or advance to the next step IF and only IF I deleted ALL keyword tags and left that entry blank. So, in order to list, I did just that. I thought maybe this clue would be helpful to the techs on this case.

The 'next step' button is not working. I am in the 'what' screen, trying to publish a listing. I wrote up my volunteer opportunity, chose keywords, all that, but when I click 'next step', nothing happens. 'save draft' doesn't work, either.

I am new to this, today I created my first listing and I am experiencing the same problem. My only difference is that when I click Next Step, I get a pop up telling me to "find, save or cancel." I have done all three and I still cannot advance to the next step. HELP!!!

Could you pass along some more info about what you're running into? Do you get a pop-up asking you to save, like some of the posters above?
I took a look at your account, and it looks as though one of your listings has not been updated recently. We made some major changes to the VolunteerMatch site over the past 6 months - you make be required to update some of the information associated with your listing before re-activating it.

Like many people have posted, I cannot proceed to "next steps". I've tried opening in a new window and typing everything (no copy/paste). This is what the next window says:

Hi Matt,
I'm using Safari, version number 5.0.5 (6533.21.1). I have tried both filling in the description with 10+ sentences and 1 sentence. Neither have worked. -

I'm unable to renew the experation dates on my accounts. What can I do to renew the dates? I haven't had a problem doing this in the past.
