VolunteerMatch initially extended service to regions outside of the US as a pilot program sponsored by our corporate partners, and it was created mainly to service these partners and their employees. Currently, our international search page is not available to the general public, and therefore may not be the most effective place for you to recruit volunteers on the web. The program is likely to remain this way for the foreseeable future.

In the meantime, you are welcome to register and remain in our database, and we will contact you at a later date if we need more information to finalize your registration.

The Richard M. Brodsky Foundation co-sponsors the World AIDS Marathon with the Kisumu World AIDS Marathon group every year on World AIDS Day, December 1. The two or three days leading up to the Event the Brodsky Foundation sponsors orphan dinner dances. Since 2006, the Foundation has sponsored orphan dinner dances for 3,450 Kenyan orphans. As President of the Foundation, I cannot accept the fact that 2/3 of the people dying globally from AIDS every day are from sub-Saharan Africa. I child in 8 will die before their 5th birthday in Kenya according to UNICEF. Last year was the first year we has an American pediatrician travel to Kenya and he, Dr. Richard L. Sartori, examined 56 orphans at two orphan dinner dances. I'm 59 years young, HIV-positive since 1997, a brain cancer survivor since 2002, and a marathon runner for life. My last 4 marathons run on American soil have been my fastest since being diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2002. Please consider joining my wife and me at the 2012 World AIDS Marathon. In Kenya, there are no street addresses which means after I indicate the postal code which is considered the address in Kenya, I am not able to go to the next page to continue my listing. Is there a way I can list an American address just to get the project listed and when you review it VolunteerMatch can indicate Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground and eliminate the postal code and address
