VolunteerMatch is not directly affiliated with any of the organizations which post on our site. For more specific information about an organization or an event, you will need to contact them directly.
If you've already generated a referral to the organization you're trying to reach, just refer to the referral confirmation email you received when you expressed interest in their volunteer opportunity. That email includes the contact information for that organization.
If you haven't generated a referral to the organization you're trying to reach, just go here to search for the organization in our network.
Search For An Organization
All you have to do is click on the organization's name and it will open a screen further to give you a contact person, and usually the phone number of the organization.

Hello. I am a Reiki Master and legal resident of Nevada. My schedule of work and service in Las Vegas is dedicated to the first two weeks of the month at the CHW St. Rose Hospitals Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Center of Excellence and doing private work so I can spend about two weeks of each month in Santa Clara with my daughter. I need to provide services in order to maintain and continue my development. I also want to fill my time with meaningful service. Is there a residency requirement in order to volunteer with Sutter Home? If not, I would like to apply for a position with you and undergo your training.

Hello, I am interested in volunteering for the art expression position. It sounds like something I would enjoy thus those who I'm helping would get the vibe that I truly want to be there to help. I'm 19 and a graphic design major at uic. It's my second year in the program, however I've been extreme active in the creative arts all of my life! I was wondering of I could apply for this position? Would my age be a setback? I know I'll be 20 years younger or perhaps even more than those I'll be working and volunteering with.

My grandmother was a patient at Independence Mental Health Institute, Iowa in the late 1930's-early 1940's and I have tried to get her medical records and they say they cannot find them. I have heard of other people in other states have contacted NAMI in their states and have had success. Anyone else have problems getting medical information? My grandmother passed away 16 yrs ago.

I want to volunteer, but I do not have $100 to donate to participate in the program. I am unemployed, and have been since January... I love older people (I'm 55) and I am also a professional in Pharamaceutical and Medical Education community.
I once dreamed of writing a book ... it would be about the conversations of the elderly ... Please let me help ... In any way possible.

An organization I contacted through this website got in contact with me for some volunteer editing work they needed done. However,before I can volunteer, they want me to sign a Consent and Assignment form, have it notarized, and shipped to another state. Is this standard procedure for an organization? (Also, the consent and assignment form would completely sacrifice my rights to anything I write/edit for them. Is that normal?)

I have some questions about the Mississippi Service project with groups.
Are there any physical restrictions? (For example: If there is someone with back problems)
Where are the locations? Do they tell us where to go during the project or do volunteers pick a spot?
How long does it take? (Is it something that a people could do after work for an hour or two, or will it take more than an hour or two?) Are there any costs for the "Additional fun" items? (lunch, paddleboats, canoe, biking) Is there a dinner option? Can kids come?

Does the volunteer have to be a US citizen? I know someone from India whose wife is here on an H4 visa which allows her to be in the States for as long as her husband is here. She is not allowed to work but would very much like to volunteer. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Oriya and a college graduate. Please let me know if there are any opportunities for her. Thanks.
