Customizing the Contact Person for Specific Opportunities
Is there a way to customize the contact person for a specific posting? For example, I am the Volunteer Coordinator, so I am the contact for our on-going opportunties. However, we host a series of health fairs that we need volunteers for, so I would like our nurse to field the referrals for these events, as she is the primary coordinator of them. Is this possible?

Hello Lindsey,
You can customize your volunteer contacts! To change the contact for an opportunity listing, try this:
-Log in to your VolunteerMatch account
-Click on the organization you wish to manage.
-Select the listing(s) for which you’d like to change the contact using the check boxes next to each listing. Then, click the 'Change Contact' button and choose a verified contact from the drop down menu.
-Click 'Save,' or click 'Add a New Contact.'

So based on the above, is it fair to say that there can only be one email contact per opportunity?
We were interested in having more than one email contact per opportunity.

Hi Melissa,
You are correct. Our system allows for only one contact per opportunity.
However, as volunteers generate referrals their contact information is saved into your account. Your profile administrators have access to all of this data. On your Dashboard page you should see a tab marked 'Volunteer Referrals & Reports'.
Administrators can access volunteer info and sort contact information based on the opportunity they initially inquired about.

Is there a way to set up a listing so that more than one person gets notified by email when a volunteer is referred? It would be nice to have 2 people in our organization be copied on the emails, in case one is out of town.

I need to delete an administrator who no longer works at the organization. She is listed as a contact for Meals on Wheels so your system will not let me remove her how do I remove her from Meals on Wheels?

I was wondering if there could be two people under the contact option when a person is interested in volunteering with our program. When i first registered I put myself as a contact then I added a colleague on as an administrator and she changed it to where she is the only person that gets contacted when someone is interested in our program. Can I add more that one contact email, to one post for the same program?

Hello Erin,
There can only be one listed contact in an volunteer opportunity. However, a profile administrator can track all incoming referrals by accessing the referral report.
