How do I add new attachments to my organization profile?

How do I add new attachments to my listing? I see where I click 'change' and that I can delete the existing ones, but how do I add updated documents to the drop down menu that says "select attachment"?

  • Hi Lindsey,

I looked into this, and it appears that you have already uploaded the maximum number of five documents/attachments. You'll need to either "delete" or "replace" one of your existing documents. By choosing "delete," you'll be deleting that document from all your listings, while by choosing "replace," you'll be replacing that document with another one in all your listings.

    Hope that helps! Happy recruiting!

    Hi Lindsey!

I wanted give you instructions on how to manage your documents (in case you were having any difficulty)

As a Community Leader, you can attach up to three documents to accompany all referral confirmation emails that go to prospective volunteers, and you can upload as many as five with our document manager tool. Please follow the steps below to add a document or edit your existing documents:

-Log into your account and access your organization's account.

-In your account, under Listing Tools, click 'Document Manager' to select or upload a document to attach to your confirmation email.

-Here you can view the documents currently uploaded to your account, or you can add a document, by clicking 'Add.'

-Click Browse to select a document from your hard drive. Locate the filepath, then double-click the document you would like to upload or select the document and click Open. (Please note: the document should be in Microsoft Word, PDF, Text, Excel or HTML format, and cannot exceed 200k in size.)

-Enter a Title, then click 'Continue'

-From the Document Manager you can Replace, Download, or Delete any of the documents in your account.

To attach a document to a listing, go back to the Manage Organization page. Using the Listings Quick Tool, select the listing you want to edit from the first drop-down menu, and select 'Edit Listing Documents' from the second drop-down menu. Then click 'Go.'

Let us know if you have any more questions.

The program won't let me add a new attachment. Do I need to delete some of the ones I already have in my account? I have successfully added attachments to five other job postings, but now it won't let me add a new one to the 6th posting!

I have condensed my application but it is still not small enough to fit. Any suggestions. I am using a pdf file and have condensed down to 2 pages but it is still two big.

I would like to add an attachment to my volunteer opportunity, but it will only allow me to select a previous attachment. The green writing that usually says "Upload a new attachment" or something of the sort is no longer there/an option. I do not need the other previous attachments so I would happily delete those if it's a problem of having too many.

I would like to have potential volunteers complete our volunteer application instead of directly emailing me. Is that possible?

In our opportunity, there is an active URL clearly identified as the place for interested volunteers to go RSVP; when they go there and sign-up it reserves their space. (See here...http://www.volunteermatch.org/search/...)

I also include the RSVP information in the confirmation message the volunteer receives after they select the "I Want to Help" button. Although, hypertext is not accepted in that message...that would be a helpful feature to have.

In any event, I have individuals contacting me with interest, and I email them back with instructions on how to secure their reserved space. Doing this, however, is an inefficient process.

Is it possible to either disable the "I Want to Help" button or customize it so that when volunteers select it they are redirected to the RSVP form.

    Thanks

Matt: The pop-up box to browse for my attachments doesn't recognize the two pdf files I want to upload. It shouldn't be size limited because it acknowledges my photo files which are on the same thumb drive and they are huge. Open to your suggestions, Eileen
